Birth Doula packages include:
*An initial meet and greet: This is a time for us to get to know a little bit about each other. All of your questions about Doulas, me or my services are addressed. The consultation is at no cost.
*1-2 Prenatal Visits: We discuss your birth-day "wish list," tools and strategies available for comfort during labor and delivery (touch, positioning, visualization, birthing ball, hot and cold packs, continuous support), health history, breastfeeding, baby care, and addressing your specific cares.
*Email and Phone Access
*24 hour "on call" (I sleep with my cell phone) 2 weeks prior to due date. At 38 weeks, I plan accordingly to be readily available for your birth.
*Continuous suport during labor and delivery.
*1-2 hours immediate assistance after birth.
*Photos/Videos/Music as requested.
*1-2 hour post partum-home visits. Generally within the first week after birth, I offer breast feeding assistance, answer questions, and discuss your labor and delivery.
*Back Up Doula: If due to illness or emergency, I am unavailable or unable to attend your birth, a backup Doula will attend.
